This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of current situation of the company IP IZOLACE POLNÁ, s.r.o. in its competitive environment. The aim of my thehis was to propose new ancillary services for the company based on the analyzes. According to the findings proposal consists of activities that should enhance its competitiveness in the coming years.

The master’s thesis concerns with a theme of strengthening competitiveness of a travel agency, which makes tours to abroad. Theoretical part of the work includes knowledge about competitiveness and strengthening of the competitiveness. In practical part are knowledge used in a practice. The main part of the work is analysis of the travel agency and microeconomics and macroeconomics environment, which influences the company. These analysis are made because of raise proposal for strengthening competitiveness of the travel agency.

The diploma thesis focuses on the practical use of competitive intelligence, a method increasingly used to support decision making nowadays. The essential key principle is based on collection of precise data and their thourough analysis. The obtained information gives a comprehensive overview of the competitor analysis. The acquired knowledge of the competition is important for company's strategic decision-making processes. At the beginning the thesis gives a theoretical background on different means of data collecting including the ethic kodex. Folowing is the identification of the modern sources of information. Further, various methods and approaches of competitive intelligence are described. And the theoretical background on competitive strategies and their impact on the market wraps up the theoretical part of the thesis. The method is applied to create departmet of competitive inteligence for the company. Then the various options for further go to market activities are described and the scope of cooperation with selected customers is evaluted. The thesis describes the competitive intelligence advantages and the possible ways of aplications for the competitive strategy. At the end, the recommendations for the management of the company are summed up.
The process of inplementing Competitive Intelligence into a select agricultural company

This diploma thesis deals with the process of introducing Competitive Intelligence into a selected agricultural company in order to help the company improve its market position and gain a competitive advantage. After evaluating the current situation of the company, there is a problem to be solved. After the theoretical part, the CI process is proposed to the company, including the phases that the company has to go through during the implementation. Then follows the use of selected methods for the analysis of the most important competitor. In conclusion, the whole proposal of the solution is summarized, including benefits for the company and possible shortcomings.
Critical Evaluation of concrete MNE’s CSR as a competitiveness factor

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je kritická analýza strategie společenské odpovědnosti (CSR) firmy Lush Cosmetics Limited (Lush) a objevení vztahu mezi CSR aktivitami a konkurenceschopností. Teoretická část práce představuje teorie soutěže a koncept společenské odpovědnosti. Následuje diskuze studií vztahu dlouhodobé konkurenceschopnosti firmy and složek CSR. Analytická část zjišťuje CSR aktivity společnosti Lush pomocí hybridu Porterovy analýzy hodnotového řetězce a obsahové analýzy hlavních komunikačních kanálů společnosti. Teoretické závěry z první kapitoly posloužily jako základ pro konstrukci online dotazníkového šetření na téma zákaznické percepce CSR a společnosti Lush. Autor kriticky hodnotí CSR strategii Lushe, diskutuje průsečíky mezi CSR, zákazníky a konkurenceschopností, a taktéž poukazuje na možná zlepšení.

This diploma deals with development strategy of company. Subject of analysis is one of the world’s biggest car rental company, it’s Czech part to be more specific. This thesis analyses company according to analytics methods taught during the study, most important is The Strategic analysis. Results of the analysis part reveals a weak spot – absence of utility vehicles, which are offered by company’s foreign offices also by local competitors. Method of minimal costs was used for developing and presenting one specific solution to eliminate the weak spot.
